The Teensmag was first published in 1988 by psychologist, Dr. Merv Mason. The idea to create a magazine for Youth about Alcohol and Drug Abuse awareness came to him when he noticed very little information was available to students on this topic. Dr. Mason was inspired and determined to make a difference and the idea for The Teensmag was born.
